Prohibited items

Below we embed a list of prohibited items for carriage by passengers in hand luggage and registered baggage.

1. Cabin luggage

Firearms and other weapons

• firearms (military and sports - pistols, revolvers, machine guns, rifles, shotguns, etc.)
• Replica and imitation firearms
• lighters that look like firearms,
• component parts of firearms (excluding telescopic devices and telescopic sights)
• hunting weapons with bullets or cartridges,
• signaling guns and launchers signaling loads,
• starting pistols,
• all types of toys that look like pistols, revolvers, rifles, etc.
• rifles or pistols, air pistols and a "softair” out balls,
• crossbows and bows,
• catapults,
• all types of equipment to the harpoon, spear, and spear,
• all types of equipment for the slaughtering of animals,
• devices causing bewilderment and shock, for example, electric cattle prods
• Electric stun guns (including wired, so called. Tasers).

Objects with sharp ends or sharp edges

• axes and hatchets,

• working tools, which can be used as a weapon pointed or sharp edges, such as drills, drill bits and other drilling equipment, tools for cutting cardboard, cutters, utility knives, all saws, screwdrivers, crowbars, hammers, pliers (tongs), wrenches / keys, flashlight with enhanced design
• other items not in the shape of weapons, in which the hidden blade.

Blunt instruments

• baseball bats and other types of sticks used in various sports,
• clubs (including wood) - rigid or flexible, such as batons, metal covered with leather, batons, etc.
• cricket bats,
• golf clubs,
• hockey sticks,
• racquets' lacrosse,
• paddle for kayaking, canoeing, canoes and other vessels,
• skateboards,
• all kinds of billiard cues,
• rods,
• equipment used in martial arts such as knuckle dusters, clubs of any kind (including wood), rice flails, nunchaku.

Explosives and flammable substances

• ammunition,
• primers,
• fuse and detonating cord,
• detonators and fuses,
• explosives and explosive devices,
• replica or imitation explosive material or devices and their components,
• all types of mines,
• all types of grenades (including training grenades, fake grenades, mortar)
• Gas and gas containers, in particular: butane, propane, acetylene, and oxygen in large quantities
• fireworks, all types of flares and other pyrotechnics (including minifajerwerkami confetti used at parties, and caps)
• matches the amount of sulfur (the storm)
• smoke-producing devices, and any containers with compressed smoke
• flammable liquid fuel as petrol / diesel and gas for lighters, and liquid alcohol or ethanol,
• spray paint,
• turpentine and paint thinners,
• alcoholic beverages at a concentration above 70% per unit.

Chemical and toxic substances

• acids and alkalis - eg liquid electric batteries,
• corrosive, caustic or bleach, eg mercury, chlorine,
• any gas projectors, including manual, containing incapacitating substances, such as tear gas, "pepper spray"
• gel and liquid-throwers incapacitating,
• radioactive materials, such as medical or industrial isotopes,
• poison
• infectious materials or biological hazardous material, eg infected blood, bacteria and viruses,
• materials with spontaneous ignition or combustion,
• fire extinguishers.

Liquids and items of similar consistency
Liquids (gels, pastes, lotions, liquid / solid mixtures and the contents of pressurized containers, toothpaste, hair gel, drinks, soups, syrups, perfume, deodorant, shaving foam, aerosols and other items of similar consistency) except:

• liquids in individual containers with a capacity of 100 ml or equivalent and placed in one multiple transparent resealable plastic bag with a capacity of up to 1 liter,
• fluid, which in the course of travel may be necessary for the passenger for medical reasons or due to a special diet this also applies to baby food,
• liquids purchased airside beyond the point where boarding passes are controlled, provided that the liquid is packed in a bag secured with the seals for the easy finding of violation, and containing visible evidence of purchase at that airport on that same day,
• liquids purchased in the airport restricted area,
• liquids purchased on the same day in another Community airport, on condition that the liquid is packed in a bag secured with the seals for the easy finding of violation, and containing a visible proof of purchase at airside at that airport
• liquids purchased on board the aircraft of a Community air carrier, provided that the liquid is packed in a bag secured with the seals to allow for easy check of their violation and containing visible proof of purchase on the same day on board the aircraft.

2. Registered baggage

Explosives and flammable substances

• explosives and explosive devices, especially detonators, fuses, grenades, mines, bombs and rockets
• grenade launchers and other items or devices for projecting materials, substances or devices,
• all kinds of cords and explosive substances,
• suitcases and bags fitted with self-destruct_enive, and smoke-producing dymozasłonotwórcze,
• powdered materials for the amateur production of pyrotechnic devices, such as ammonium nitrate, sulfur, charcoal,
• training grenades and fake grenades,
• dummy explosive devices,
• all kinds of substances and flammable materials including magnesium, as well as gasoline and methanol,
• components of fuel systems - including fuel,
• alcohol above 70% (also forbidden in petrol fuel vehicles), gases: propane, butane,
• all types of containers with lighter fuel,
• fireworks, fireworks and flares.

Chemical and toxic substances

• poisons and toxic substances, infectious substances, including poisons on mice and rats, infected blood,
• Radioactive material, including medicinal and industrial isotopes,
• tear gas, gel, liquid overpowering,
• pistols and revolvers with paralyzing gas, such as tear gas,
• hand grenades, a gas canister, such as tear gas,
• all objects containing irritants, shock, stunning, or other used to attack people, corrosive chemicals,
• Corrosives, including mercury and batteries
• containers of soda,
• paints and solvents,
• oxidizers and organic peroxides, including bleach and sets of chemicals for body repair and car body,
• cylinders with compressed gas (butane, propane) as well as hiking gas cylinders (can be transported only when they are emptied of any residual gas)
• oxygen cylinders / oxygen torches underwater (it is possible to transport empty oxygen cylinders or disconnected underwater oxygen torches).

Pyrzowice Airport controls customers of airlines, if they adapt to principles mentioned above. Keep this in mind when packing luggage!
